A Fog-Kissed September Romance for Brittany & Ian
September weddings have a magic all their own, and Brittany and Ian’s celebration was the perfect reminder that sometimes the most unexpected weather creates the most unforgettable moments.
The day began wrapped in rain and fog, with soft clouds hovering low over the Three Sisters Mountains. Rather than dampening the mood, the mist set a dreamy, romantic tone - as if the entire landscape was holding its breath for what was to come. Inside the Grace Barn, the girls spent the afternoon getting dressed and touching up surrounded by laughter, music, and champagne. They danced, toasted, and soaked in every second together before Brittany surprised them with the reveal of her dress. The room erupted with emotion - a truly girly, joy-filled moment that set the tone for the rest of the day!
To stay dry from the rain, Brittany and Ian shared their first look beneath The Garden Terrace, but there was nothing “dry” about the emotions that followed. Tears flowed freely as they saw each other for the first time and exchanged private vows, completely present in the moment despite the weather around them. The rain-soaked haze lingered into bridal party photos, creating a soft, cinematic backdrop where the bridesmaids’ light pink gowns and the groomsmen’s classic black tuxedos stood out beautifully against the moody sky.
Their floral design tied everything together with intentional elegance - bouquets, boutonnieres, and arbor arrangements featured romantic touches of light pink, dark pink, and peach. Just as Brittany had hoped, the weather cleared at exactly the right moment, allowing the ceremony to take place out on The Meadows. With the mountains peeking through the clouds and the rain finally at bay, the setting felt nothing short of magical.
As the celebration moved indoors, the White Willow Barn was transformed into a garden-inspired haven. Lush florals in the same soft pink and peach tones adorned the mantel and farmhouse tables, while romantic candlelight flickered throughout the space. Pink table runners draped the tables, adding warmth and charm to the inviting atmosphere. As the evening unfolded, Brittany made a much-anticipated dress change - the perfect choice for a night filled with energy, laughter, and dancing. Surrounded by their favorite people, Brittany and Ian danced the night away, ending their wedding day just as joyfully as it began!
