Julia & Ashley | An October Wedding at Promise Gardens
Julia and Ashley’s October wedding at Promise Gardens was a heartfelt celebration of love, color, and community. Set against a meadow bursting with shades of pink and fuchsia hydrangeas, the day felt both vibrant and deeply personal. From the very beginning, this wedding was filled with meaningful surprises - most notably, the dresses. Both Julia and Ashley chose their gowns without seeing the other’s, making their first look an emotional and even more unforgettable moment between the two of them.
Their ceremony was surrounded by the women who have shaped and supported their lives. The bridal party, made up entirely of incredible women, wore varying shades of blues and greens that beautifully complemented the lush garden setting. As Julia and Ashley were pronounced married and made their way back down the aisle, friends and family celebrated by waving pride flags high in the air, a powerful and joyful send-off as the newlyweds departed the meadow together.
Cocktail hour was bathed in sunshine, inviting guests to explore the property while enjoying delicious appetizers and expertly crafted cocktails. Laughter and conversation flowed easily as everyone soaked in the warmth of the day. Inside the White Willow Barn, the reception space felt intimate and elevated - floral green tablecloths, rich green napkins, custom name tags, whimsical white floral pieces and an abundance of candlelight set the tone for the evening. One of the most special touches was a live watercolor artist, capturing a moment from the day as it unfolded.
As the night continued, Julia and Ashley changed into shorter, party-ready dresses and kicked off the dancing. The energy on the dance floor was contagious, and the love between them was undeniable. From the intentional details to the overwhelming support from their loved ones, their wedding day was a true reflection of who they are - joyful, vibrant, and deeply in love.
